Plotpackers runs group trips and expeditions for people who want to travel properly, safely and build true companionship in the process. Founded by Louise Truman in 2024, the business grew exceptionally fast through word of mouth and social, but the brand was stuck in the mud. It was clean, functional but forgettable, and missed anything that truly reflected the people behind the brand. The strategy was already working, it just needed to look and feel like it.
The brief was to rebuild the identity from the ground up: logo, colour system, illustration, tone of voice, and the website itself. Not a repositioning, the business already knew what it was. This was about giving Plotpackers its true face.
We started with a bold, hand-drawn wordmark, inspired by handwritten typography found across trails and through street-art. We wanted a mark with enough presence to hold its own on a sign or a poster, but with a hand-lettered touch to keep everything feeling human. Around the brand sits a vibrant, colour palette inspired by dancing and festivals around the world.
The brand doesn't take itself too seriously, which is exactly the point, this is a brand for people who want their trip to feel like an adventure with friends, building a community of lifelong companions and not simply a package holiday.
That system now runs end to end, launching just ahead of Plotpackers' appearance on Dragons' Den, where Louise secured investment from Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett following an incredibly inspiring and well delivered pitch.
